Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform drydock repairs to the Group Miami, FL, 41 Foot Utility Boats (CG41-UTB) including but not limited to the following Indefinite Items: (1) Welding Repairs, (2) Renew Aluminum Frames, Stiffeners, and Brackets, (3) Renew Rubrail Fasteners, (4) Air Test Skeg, (5) Renew Watertight Scuttle, (6) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Propeller Shaft, (7) Renew Strut, (8) Renew Propeller Shaft Coupling, (9) Engine Realignment, (10) Renew Propulsion Shaft Stern Tube Bearing, (11) Renew Propulsion Strut Bearing, (12) Remove and Reinstall Propeller, (13) Valve Renewal, (14) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Rudder Assembly, (15) Install Trim Tabs, (16) Clean and Inspect Diesel Fuel Tanks, (17) Renew Rudder Bushing, (18) Preserve Main Deck, (19) Preserve Aluminum Underwater Body, (20) Preserve Freeboard, (21) Renew Corrosion Preventive Zinc Anodes, (22) Ultrasonic Testing, (23) Provide Temporary Logistics, (24) Routine Drydocking, (25) Composite Labor Rate, and (26) Lay Days. Vessel is a 41-Foot Utility Boat. Vessel length is 40 feet, 8 inches; breadth is 13 feet, 6 inches. Vessel homepier is Fort Lauderdale, FL. Vessel availability schedule is to be defined separately for each vessel. The performance period for each vessel is twenty-one (21) calendar days. The place of performance is not geographically restricted; however, for the vessel to travel by water, the maximum nautical mileage will be limited to ONE HUNDRED (100) nautical miles from For Lauderdale, FL. This figure represents a single day's travel for a UTB crew. Any contractor providing for work to be accomplished at a commercial location exceeding ONE HUNDRED (100) nautical miles will have to transport the vessel by land at the contractor's expense which shall be included in the amount bid. Transport time shall be included in the 21-day performance period. The contract will consist of one base year and three one-year options to be exercised at the Government's discretion. There will be a non-refundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings.
