Healthcare System intends to issue a solicitation for the maintenance
and repair of the following Ohmeda Anesthesia Equipment. Ohmeda RGM
Model Numbers 5250 and 5350, Ohmeda Ventilators Model 7000 and Ohmeda
Anesthesia Machines Model Excel. Interested firms must clearly and
convincingly document their capability to maintain the subject
equipment in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer's
(OEM) requirements, specifications and criteria, including providing
all necessary replacement parts at no additional cost to the
government. Successful contractor must perform quarterly performance
assurance testing, calibration and vaporizer efficacy tests on each
unit. Also, provide emergency and regular repair service between the
hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm EST, Monday -- Friday, except holidays.
Successful contractor must respond with a telephone call within 2 hours
of notification by VA and complete on site repairs within 48 hours of
initial notification. Firms responding shouldindicate whether they are
an 8(a) firm, a small business or a large business. Standard
Industrial Classification Code is 7699. Small business size standard is
5.0 Million Dollars or less. The Government reserves the right to
consider a small business set aside, or 8(a) set aside based upon
requests hereto. Closing date for submission of responses is 14 days
