The USDA Forest Service, Northern Region, intends to acquire services for assistance with the migration of Land Ownership Status (LOS) data to the Automated Lands Program (ALP). Duties will include, but are not limited to collapsing, editing, amending and appending of LOS data for linkage to the spatial data collection of the ALP project. Current LOS data resides on the Data General (DG) computer system and IBM in SQL and Oracle programs. Incumbent will write distinct and specialized retrieval routines in PRESENT and SEQUAL Plus, to be run against the data in both programs. Researches and reviews existing records and files of the Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and County Recorder's Offices for land ownership title, encumbrance, use restriction and survey information. Interprets the information from all source edits, amends and/or appends existing LOS data. Incorporates new case information and surveys, including Amended Protraction Diagrams, into the LOS data system for inclusion and migration into ALP. Reviews, validates and updates final spatial data products to insure correct LOS data information is linked to appropriate spatial data records. Contractor shall be required to perform work on-site in Government facilities. The office is located in Missoula, Montana. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code for this project is 7389. This project is a small business set-aside. Size standard is $5.0 million. Contract will be awarded for a base year (one calendar year after date of award). There will be four (4) additional one (1) year options available under the contract. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000.
