S -- NONPOTABLE (GRAY) WATER DUE 111698 POC Santiago Toscano (210) 671-1740 Lackland AFB Texas and Brooks AFB Texas are intending to acquire nonpotable (gray) water on a sole source basis from the City of San Antonio, San Antonio Water System. Nonpotable (gray) water must be in compliance with Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commisssion (TNRCC) for Type 1 usage under Title 30, Chapter 210 et seq. of the Texas Administrative Code. Estimated annual consumption is 170,000KGAL for Lackland AFB Texas and 100,750 KGAL for Brooks AFB Texas. Nonpotable (gray) water must be provided continuously to various delivery ponts through SAWS constructed, owned, operated, and mantained distribution system. Interested parties must provide a statement of interest on company letterhead. The statement must include as a minimum the following information (1) capability and experience in the operation and maintenance of similar systems; (2) financial capacity to purchase, expand, and operate the system; (3) understanding of any applicable federal, state, or local utility laws or franchise requirements.
