The project provides minor construction, architectural and refrigeration upgrade to the existing commissary at Hickam AFB HI. The work to be done includes but is not limited to the following: expand sales area into the warehouse, replacement of all display cases throughout the Sales Area, remove sales area flooring, ceiling and some walls. New decor to include installation of new flooring, ceiling, lighting, department signage, and aisle directory signs. The project also includes the replacement of the refrigeration system, compressor racks, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and some hazardous material abatement. Phasing of overall construction work will be required through the duration of the project to allow for full operation of the commissary. This acquisition is unrestricted and is open to both large and small business concerns. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Bid guarantee is required. All responsible bidders meeting the criteria set forth in the solicitation may submit a bid which will be considered by the government. Bid packages should be available on or about 04 December 1998.
