Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT, LEAD PAINT ABATEMENT, STATE OF MICHIGAN SOL 162640-99-A-0023 DUE 120498 POC Lois Kimmelman, USPS Environmental Specialist, 312/669-5960, Teri Wilcox-DuBois, USPS Contract Specialist, 312/669-5974 Contract term will be for two (2) years. Work will be done on work orders issued for amounts and types of work. Offer will be a multiplier of the unit prices. Multiplier must contain offeror's overhead, profit and all other costs of doing business. Contract will be for lead paint abatement and related services at various postal owned or leased facilities at predetermined unit prices. Specific work orders will be issued for not less than $500 each nor more than $250,000 each during this contract. Total quantity of work under this contract will not be less than $10,000 nor more than $500,000. The initial limit of $500,000 may be increased, if required, up to a maximum of $3,000,000 over the two (2) year period. Successful offeror will be required to furnish proof of general liability, automobile liability, commercial liability, worker's compensation, and special asbestos abatement insurance. One or more contracts may be awarded at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Evaluation factors in addition to price will be considered as follows: 1. Related Company Experience, at least five years; 2. Full-time staff training and individual experience, at least five years; 3. Project approach and organization, and; 4. Compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations. Contract completion time will be twenty-four (24) months from the date of receipt of Notice to Proceed. Specifications will be available on or about November 12, 1998. Specifications will be provided free of charge, for all requests received no later than November 27, 1998.
