The Umatilla National Forest is soliciting bids for the South Fork Walla Walla #3225 and Burnt Cabin #3226 Trail construction and restoration. The trailhead to access the project is located in Umatilla County, Oregon approximately 21 kilometers southeast of Milton-Freewater, Oregon. From the trailhead proceed up-river on trail #3225 to the individual construction sites shown on the contract drawings and staked on the ground. Trail #3226 intersects with trail #3225 approximately 9 kilometers from the trailhead. Use of the trails are limited to hikers, horses and motorcycles. Trail excavation machines will be limited in width to that of the design trail tread of 600mm. The trails are located on the Walla Walla Ranger Distrist, Walla Walla, Washington.
