Roberts, CONTRACTING OFFICER The work consists of essentially of painting all ferrous metal surfaces of six primary and one emergency gates, roller covers, all guides for primary and emergency gate locations, conduit liners downstream of the main gate, and gate hoist covers, (inside and out). All items of work shall be cleaned and painted and the work shall include containment, collection, and disposal of removed debris. Each offeror shall be required to submit a technical proposal that consists of two factors. These factors are SSPC Certification and Past Performance. Those firms that are not SSPC Certified must submit docuumentation of their capabilities to perform the work in accordance with SSPC PCCP Certification for QP2. All offerors are advised that they are to submit both a technical proposal and a cost proposal. Award will be made to the firm that meets the above evaluation criteria and has submitted the lowest priced proposal. Those firms that fail to provide clear evidence of SSPC Certification, or capabilities to perform the work according to SSPC Certification for QP2 will not be considered qualified to perform the work. The cost range of this project is from $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. The project is being solicited on an unrestriced basis. All interested firms may submit a proposal which will be considered.
