This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) CC-98-Q-0018. This is solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-06. (iv) This RFQ is issued as a small business set-aside. SIC Code 3571, Electronic Computers. Size Standard 1000 Employees. (v) Provide a price for Line Item 0001 IBM 3745 Communications Front End Processor (FEP) -- Configured. Requirement description is set forth in the following paragraph. (vi) IBM 3745 FEP at current EC level configured to support: (A) 4 1,544,000 SDLC, (B) 4 56,000 SDLC, (C) 7 19,200 SDLC, (D) 1 9,600 SDLC, and (E) 2 4.5MegaByte IBM HOST Parallel Interfaces. The FEP will include all power cables, V.35 and V.24 DCE cables between 25ft and 50ft in length for each line interface, four IBM type BLUE Bus & tag cables of 50ft to 70ft, manuals, additional 8megabytes control storage, internal hard drive, CD Rom, modem, keyboard, monitor and service processor. The OCC requires a 30 day acceptance period and 90 days on-site 7/24 service warranty. The FEP must be certified for OEM maintenance. Pricing must include delivery and installation. (vii) The OCC requires the FEP to be shipped to Landover, MD within ten calendar days of award date. FOB point: Destination.
