Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is seeking sources for an
anticipated firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
contract for light vehicle armoring services. At a minimum, the
following specifications are required: (1) Protection against
AK47/SKS/all ammunition less than AK47 caliber; (2) 360 degree
protection; (3) roof armor; and (4) one roll-down driver side window.
Typical vehicles to be armored include Toyota Landcruisers, Ford
Broncos, Ford Explorers, Ford Expeditions, Chevrolet Blazers, Chevrolet
Suburbans, and Jeep Cherokees. Any potential source must possess or
have the ability to obtain a security clearance in order to be
considered. Also, sources must demonstrate financial stability. All
interested parties are asked to submit a written statement of
qualifications to the Contracting Officer. This statement should
include a summary of any past performance with Federal law enforcement
