Sponsorship is for the 3rd Annual United States Air Force Marathon. The event will be held at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio on Saturday, September 18, 1999. The event captures an audience of over 2500 runners and 10,000 spectators. The event reaches runners both military and civilian, as well as the general public. Sponsorship opportunities exist in the form of in-kind products and services, financial support for marathon activities and donations. Sponsorship benefits include logo placement on event promotional materials, sampling/promotional opportunities, signage, product displays, and other recognition opportunities. All offers will be considered. More than one sponsor may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of the 3rd Annual USAF Marathon solicitation must be received not later than 28 February 1999. Solicitations for the 4th Annual USAF Marathon, scheduled for September 16, 2000 are also being sought. Requests for copies of the 4th Annual USAF Marathon solicitation must be received by 31 December 1999. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a nonappropriated fund instrumentality of the United States Government. It does not obligate appropriated funds of the government.
