POC Liz Miller, 505-248-6622 The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region
2, intends to issue a sole source award to Magic Valley Heli-Arc and
Mfg., Inc. for the procurement of one each fish harvesting system
(Model 1080-P-1 Aqua-Life Harvester, 8" System). This system is the
only system designed and patented specifically as a fish pump. Mora
National Fish Hatchery and Technology Center, Mora, New Mexico,
requires a system to transfer fish from a raceway to a transport
vehicle or other holding tank by pumping the fish and water to an
elevated grading system. From that point, fish are separated from the
raceway water and transferred to fresh, oxygenated water contained in
the transport vehicle or other holding tank. The proposed Model
1080-P-1 Aqua-Life Harvester, 8" System includes the following: Model
1080-P Aqua Life Fish Pump, aluminum dewaterer with an aluminum
removable dewatering rack mounted on a single axle trailer, complete
with leveling jacks and running lights. Includes all hydraulics and
circuiting to operate lift cylinders and fish pump. Includes 25 H.P.
electric start Kohler gasoline engine, 12 volt battery, 15 gallon fuel
tank, 26 gallon hydraulic oil tank, 1-45 degree elbow, 1-90 degree
elbow, 20 feet of 8-inch intake hose, 15 feet of 8 inch discharge hose
and 25 foot hydraulic hose leads for fish pump. Requirement is for one
each system. Delivery location: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Mora
National Fish Hatchery and Technology Center, Highway 434 Mile Marker

intent is not a request for competitive proposals. For those interested
persons, the following information is provided: This is a combined
synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This
solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in
effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-07. 100% small business
set-aside. SIC 3559. Size standard: 500 employees. The provision at
52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this
acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at
52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items,
