The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) Synopsis No. 20003-99, issued 2 November 1998 announced that NAVAIR is seeking information that may lead to a competitive acquisition of Laser Guided Training Rounds (LGTR). Interested offerors were encouraged to research the government website relating to LGTR and RFI requirements at https://cae3.chinalake.navy.mil/lgtr/lgtr-start.html. Access to the performance specification and drawings under this website may be requested in writing from the NAVAIRSYSCOM point-of-contact listed below. NAVAIR has learned that access to the performance specification and drawings could not be made by outside sources. Due to this complication, this is to inform all interested sources that responses to this RFI are now to be submitted and addressed to Ms. Thomson, at the below referenced address, no later than 04 December 1998, rather than the initially stated 23 November 1998 date. No other changes are made to the submittal requirements stated in the original announcement.
