C -- A/E SERVICES TO RENOVATE ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SOL RFP 597-12-99 DUE 121098 POC Bonnie Obermier, 402-486-7880 A/E Services of an Architect/Engineering firm with special emphasis on Electrical Distribution is required at the VA Greater Nebraska Health Care System, 2201 North Broadwell Avenue, Grand Island, and also 600 South 70th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. Project #597-99-102 will include investigation, design, preparation of bid documents, and provide construction period services. The project will include but not limited to the replacement of vertical risers to the distribution panels on the floors in Building #1 at Grand Island and also, the laterals to individual rooms will be replaced. Also, included in the replacement of obsolete distribution panels at both Grand Island, Building #1 and Lincoln Building #1,3,4,5,and 24. All work will be done in compliance with NFPA, Life Safety Codes, all applicable Federal and local codes. The estimated construction range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Only firms with prior experience in the design of similar type projects, and those with professional capabilities tocomplete this type of work will be considered. This is not a request for proposal and is unrestricted as to business size.
