Military Trail West Palm Beach, Florida, intends to award a sole source contract under FAR Part 12 to GE Medical Systems P.O. Box 414 Milwaukee, Wi 53216, for software maintenance support for the GE Medical System Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). GE Medical Systems is considered the only source for this service due to the proprietary rights of the software. No solicitation document exists. Prospective contractors should submit cost and technical data to be evaluated. Interested firms will be considered only if they indicate their ability to satisfy the requirement, within 14 days of this notice, by responding with clear and convincing documentation that they are capable of meeting or exceeding the requirement stated herein at a cost sufficiently more advantageous than the contractor named. If no affirmative written responses are received within 14 days of this announcement, negotiations will begin with GE Medical System.
