SOL F1660299xxxx POC Jackie Anderson, 318-456-4843 This is a sources sought synopsis to determine if there are a sifficient number of responsible sources who can meet a forthcoming competitive requirement pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, for maintenance of Land Mobile Radio equipment at Barksdale AFB Louisiana. Period of performance is for a basic period plus four twelve month option periods. The service consists of maintaining uninterrupted service on the base's Land Mobile Radio Central Base Trunking System, Tactical Aircrew Alerting Network, Central Base Paging System and Conventional LMR Networks. In addition to responsibilities outlined in subject area above, the contractor will be responsible for maintaining, installing, removing, and programming fixed base stations, with and without remote control units; mobile radios and portable two-way radios; voice, digital and alpha pagers; cellular telephone instruments and vehicle adapters. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision and any other items or services necessary (including but not limited to high-reach vehicles, antenna climbing equipment, test equipment, replacement parts, and bench stock) to perform troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance inspections, intrinsically safe certification inspections, installations and removals of government owned communications electronics equipment. Contractor employees may be required to travel to any point under the responsibility of Barksdale AFB Louisiana, up to a radio distance of 20 miles.
