USCG ACTIVITIES SAN DIEGO, SAN DIEGO, CA. Furnish all labor, materials,
supervision, transportation, equipment, and all other necessary items
required to accomplish the following: remove and dispose of existing
steel casement windows, hardware and screens in the BOQ and Admin.
Buildings; install new vinyl casement windows and screens in the BOQ
and Admin. Buildings to match existing vinyl casement windows in the
south wing of the BOQ Building; remove and dispose of designated hollow
metal doors and frames in fire separation walls of Hangar Buildings #1
& #2; remove and dispose of existing hollow metal entrance door and
frame in exterior wall of Hangar #1 and install new aluminum frame
glass entrance door and hardware in existing opening; remove and store
for reuse existing three pairs of wood and glass exterior doors on the
north wall of Hangar #1; recondition existing doors; refinish and
provide new special hardware and reinstall doorsin existing openings;
remove and dispose of six 5'-0" x 10' -- 0" existing remote controlled
projected windows on west exterior wall of Hangar #2. Install new
remote controled aluminum frame projected windows in existing openings
of west wall of Hangar #2; remove and dispose of 30 existing
clerestory windows and brackets in upper north wall of Hangar #2.
Install new aluminum frame fixed clerestory windows in existing
openings; remove and dispose of five designated existing doors in ESU,
Engine-Generator and Galley buildings and install new doors, frames
and hardware in exisiting openings. Install new concrete masonry filler
walls in two door openings of ESU building. Paint all new doors and
trim, adjacent surfaces, around new windows and Hangar #1 reinstalled
doors. Estimated range is $100,000 to $250,000. The performance period
is 120 calendar days after receipt of Notive to Proceed. The
applicable SIC is 1751. Small Business size standard is $7.0 million.
Drawings and Specifications can be purchased on a first come, first
served basis at the rate of $25.00 per set. Requests will be accepted
by mail only, and must include payment in the applicable amount by
Cashier's Check or Money Order, made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard.
Personal and Company checks will not be accepted. Mailing address is:

(DOT Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization) has
programs to assist minority, women-owned, and disadvanted business
enterprises in acquiring short-term working capital and bonding
assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available
under the DOT short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates
up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts receivable financing.
