Z -- ROOFING REPAIRS/REPLACEMENT AT THE AIR FORCE ACADEMY, PROJECT 99-1400 SOL F0561199R9006 DUE 010899 POC Margaret Wages (719) 333-4742/Contracting Officer ROOFING contract to include, but not limited to, repair and replacing roofs throughout the Air Force Academy on a requirements basis. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work. Types of roofing repairs or new roofing which may be encountered include: Gravel surfaced asphalt built-up roofing system, smooth surfaced asphalt built-up system, gravel surfaced coal tar pitch built-up roofing system, smooth surfaced modified bitumen roofing system, ballasted ethylene propylene diene monomer, asphalt shingles, wood shakes, mineral surfaced cap sheet, concrete/clay tile, metal roofing, and elastomeric coatings. Roofing manufacturer's certificates will be required and past performance will be an evaluation factor for award. Contract type will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and all work will be awarded by the issuance of delivery orders. The performance period is one year from date of award plus two one-year options exercised unilaterally by the Government if they chose to. The minimum guarantee is $100,000 per year and contract maximum is $9 million over the term of the contract. The resultant contractor will be permitted storage on-site in a pre-designated contractor storage yard. The applicable SIC code is 1761 and small business size standard for this solicitation is one where the average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years does not exceed $7 million. This solicitation is being competed as unrestricted IAW the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.19-11 "Notice of Price Evaluation Adjustment for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled for issuance on or about 11 Dec 98. Women-owned and small disadvantaged business concerns are encouraged to submit offers. If the apparent low offeror is a large business, a subcontracting plan will be obtained prior to award. Copies of this solicitation are limited to 40 and priority issuance of the solicitation will be to those contractors who identify themselves as "PRIME" contractors on a first come basis.
