Contract will be a labor-hour type contract for an estimated 240 hours, and will include travel in accordance with current Joint Travel Regulations. Services will be performed at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard located in Bremerton, WA. Anticipated services dates are 21 February through 7 March 1999. Henschel Inc. manufactures the Display System. The equipment and software required to perform System testing, certification and alignment are owned by Henschel and contain proprietary data. The Government is unable to provide information, equipment or software necessary to support a competitive procurement. The Government intends to solicit, negotiate and award on a sole source basis with Henschel Inc, 9 Malcolm Hoyt Drive, Newburyport, MA 01950-4038. The acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Part 15.All responsible sources may submit offer/bid which shall be considered by FISC Puget Sound.
