Q -- SOLICIATION OF VENDORS TO EXHIBIT HEALTHCARE PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES AT THE TRICARE CONFERENCE The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs)(OASD)(HA) is seeking vendors to exhibit their products or services for two and one half days during the TRICARE Conference, February 1-5, 1999 at the Marriott Wardham Park Hotel, Washington, D.C. Products or services must be applicable to management and/or delivery of health care within the DOD managed care environment. The emphasis of the conference is on policy, management and administrative aspects of healthcare as opposed to clinical aspects. There will be approximately 1,500 medical and medical support personnel attending the conference from throughout the TRICARE managed care regions and headquarters locations. Additional information regarding the nature of exhibits sought will be provided in the exhibitors prospectus. Exhibit space will consist of 8' X 10' booths with pipe and drape. Exhibitors will pay the full cost of booths, furnishings, and support requirements. The OASD(HA) will make exhibitor selections based on applicability to the conference focus and topical areas, as well as the order of receipt of completed applications. All arrangements will be made through the conference support contractor, Standard Technology, Inc.
