KENNEDY (903) 334-2656 fax (903) 334-4141 (Site Code DAAE32) REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT FOR SILICON BASED FLUIDIZING MEDIA FOR FLUIDIZED BED RUBBER DENUDING SYSTEM Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, Texas is soliciting sources to provide supplies of the silicon fluidizing media for use in the Fluidized Bed Rubber Denuding System (FBRDS). No specification or solicitation documents exist. Interested firms must clearly and convincingly document their ability to provide material in accordance with the original system builder (SEGHERSbetter technology U.S.A., Inc.) original manufacturing requirements and the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission permit. All supplies shall be delivered to Building 493, Red River Army Depot near Texarkana, Texas. All material shall be furnished by and be the responsibility of the successful offeror. Requirements are 4,800 one hundred (100) pound bags per year during a five (5) year period. Total requirement is 24,000 bags. Material shall be packed in multi-wall paper commercial shipping bags. Bags shall be palletized with not less than twenty (20) bags per pallet. Bags and palletized loads shall be marked as to contents and contract number. The Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commission (TNRCC) requires certification of the Fluidized Bed for permit requirements. The offeror shall guarantee the quality of the fluidizing material and that it will achieve permit requirements. The offeror shall provide the Contracting Officer with MSDS sheets at the time of award. A response to this source solicitation is requested.
