qualified sources for comprehensive surge suppression devices that are
commercially available for network backbone infrastructure to include
routers and servers. This agency is requesting information to support
comprehensive surge protection system/devices for computer networks.

this requirement is commercially available. This acquisition will
include providing all devices/equipment, labor, transportation, and
installation necessary to provide for more robest protection for
network backbone infrastructure (primarily routers and servers). As a
minimum, protection must be comprehensive and protect against surges on
interconnecting wiring and power conductors. Protective devices must
react immediately to dampen or eliminate common electrical surges
before they impact the operation of the network. Devices must operate
continually and be resilient enough to effectively eliminate the
effects frequent electrical surges. This is a Request for Information
