Palmer, (202) 283-1215 All hardware components necessary to upgrade a Unisys 2200/622ES Central Electronic Complex (CEC) to a 2200/633ES. In addition, a quantity of four (4) 50 foot SSP Cable CEC (Style Number F9097-01) is required. No other peripheral connections to/from the upgrade Input/Output Complex Cabinet (ICC) are required. Delivery of all items shall be made to: Ogden Service Center, 1160 West 1200 South Street, Ogden Utah, 84201, and must be accomplished no later than January 15, 1999. Delivery shall also include Certificates of Maintainability (COMs) for all required hardware items. The IRS has one (or more) Unisys 2200/622ES CECs that have recently been taken out of service. These systems include, at a minimum, one (1) Unisys Style Number ES22622, eight (8) Style Number ES22600-BMCs, and two (2) Style Number ES22600-CBMs. The IRS would prefer to exchange hardware for the upgrade items in lieu of cash. The IRS will provide COMs for the systems upon request. However, the IRS will accept proposals that either include a hardware exchange or cash. Technical proposals shall consist of a detailed listing of the hardware items to be provided; specifically, the Unisys Style Number and the subset components that comprise the style number. In addition, the proposal(s) shall include a statement that acknowledges agreement with the terms of delivery and acceptance, noted above. All responsible sources who can provide the above requirements shall submit written quotations (no facsimile responses accepted) no later than 15 days from the published date of this announcement. No equivalents accepted. Evaluation/Award will be based on lowest overall price to the government.
