Q -- SOURCES SOUGHT TO PROVIDE CONTRACT HEALTHCARE SUPPORT DUE 120498 POC Mrs. Donna Blackstone, Contract Specialist, (301) 619-2062 The Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement to identify, via this market survey, potential sources to provide contracted healthcare support to the Naval Hospital Jacksonville FL and their subordinate clinics for FY2000 and beyond. The Government anticipates making multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract awards to responsible offerors who can provide the required medical services in an upcoming solicitation. Subordinate clinics include but are not limited to healthcare delivery locations in Jacksonville FL, Mayport FL, Kings Bay, GA, Atlanta, GA, Albany, GA, and Athens, GA. These contracted services include but are not limited to pharmacy, laboratory, phlebotomy and medical assistant support. The Government may issue additional task order requests during the course of the contract for other contracted healthcare services in disciplines typically occurring in a hospital setting up to a maximum dollar value that will be defined in the solicitation. Interested sources must ultimately demonstrate experience and knowledge of recruiting and providing healthcare workers under direct contract. Offers may be required to provide other technical information to the Government; for example, proposed/actual benefit plans for employees, retention histories, and/or recruitment methods. The Government anticipates release of the solicitation on or about 1 March 1999. Be advised that this is not a request for the submission of offers or proposals; no contract award will be made as a result of this notice. Responses shall include information relative to knowledge/abilities to provide the services sought, and provide a point of contact for questions.
