Navy and Department of Defense installations and facilities. The
NAWADLKE intends to initiate a Basic Ordering Agreement with McDonnell
Douglas Corporation (MDC), a wholly Owned Subsidiary of Boeing
Aircraft, St. Louis, MO. The purpose of the proposed BOA is to procure
the FLASHJET Aircraft Paint Removal System, installation, logistics
and training, technical manuals, warranty and sustaining engineering.
MDC is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the equipment.
As such MDC is the only firm with the unique knowledge, experience and
proprietary data required to fulfill this specialized Aircraft Paint
Removal System requirement. The US Navy does not own the
specifications, drawings, and related data for the FLASHJET Aircraft
Paint Removal System. Anticipated release of the solicitations is
