The Internal Revenue Service is conducting a sole source acquisition with Commuter Check Services Corporation under FAR 6.302-1. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a Request for Quotations, RFQ No. TIRWR-99-Q-0017 under SIC code 2759. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-06. The contractor shall be able to supply commuter vouchers in support of the IRS Public Transportation Subsidy Program to the IRS' offices located in the greater San Francisco bay area. The period of performance is from date of award through the 12th month with four (4) option periods, totalling 60 months. Commuter vouchers shall be available in different denominations to allow flexibility in administration of the program. An indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract is contemplated with fixed rates for processing and handling fees.
