Due to on-going hardware and software modifications to these units and participation in unique research projects, this medical center intends to negotiate a sole source contract for the period of January 1, 1999 through December 31, 1999. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
