Presolicitation Notice for the Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Operation and Maintenance Support Services acquisition. This effort is to provide operation, maintenance, repair and construction of real property facilities at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The major funcitional areas are: Work Reception and Management, Self Help and Supply Support Programs, Maintenance and Repair of Facilities and Equipment, Management and Maintenance of GSA and Maintenance and Service (M&S) Equipment, Pest Control Service, Grounds Maintenance, Surface Area Maintenance, Refuse Collection and Disposal, Holiday and Seasonal Decorations, Water Treatment and Distribution Systems, Wastewater Collection and Treatment Systems, Central Energy Plants, High Temperature Hot and Chilled Water Distribution Systems, Natural Gas (Gas) Distribution Systems, Electrical Distribution Sys-tems, Alarm Systems, and Project Work. The work is currently being performed by Government employees. The solicitation will be competed following the guidelines of the Office Of Management and Budget Circular A-76, Performance of Commercial Activities. A draft copy of the Performance Work Statement(PWS) is being finalized and will be issued to the industry for comments.
