PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE -- TASK FORCE ALPHA PRE-SOLICIATION CONFERENCE: A PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY WITH THE US ARMY ARDEC, PICATINNY ARSENAL NJ A Pre-Solicitation Conference for Picatinny s Public-Private Partnership (P3) opportunity will be held on 10 Dec 98 in the Command Conference Room, Building #1 at the US Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. Registration will be from 0800 to 0845. ARDEC s Task Force Alpha Team will host the conference. The conference will begin promptly at 0900 and will be concluded at 1600. A tour of Picatinny will also be conducted. The purpose of this conference is to provide attendees a more thorough understanding of the requirements associated with Picatinny s (P3) effort as described in draft RFQ DAAE30-99-Q-0100. The draft RFQ is presently available for downloading from our Web site at http://procnet.pica.army.mil. Picatinny is seeking a private sector developer/partner who will help it apply state of the art asset management practices to its land, buildings and technology to identify value that can be used to strengthen the Arsenal in the coming years. No classified information will be discussed at the conference. Attendance at this conference is not mandatory. Further participation in any competitive procurement for this effort is not contingent upon attendance. There is no registration fee. All expenses incurred by participants as a result of attending this conference will be borne by the participant. All visitors should park in the Building 94 parking lot.
