The United States Secret Service (USSS) proposes to solicit Request for Proposal (RFP) USSS990005 for development and recording of high-quality, specialized law enforcement training materials in video and text format on CD ROM. The notice which follows herein is for the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) announcement only. A Statement of Work and Evaluation for Factors for Award file will be posted concurrently with this notice on the General Service Administration's web-site for Electronic Posting System (EPS) http://eps.arnet.gov/ at the button for "Treas" and is accessible using the above solicitation number. The training will be specific to a number of USSS operational missions. Proposals will be evaluated on a best-value basis with prior law enforcement training experience in video format desired. The anticipated contract type is Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity with the Statement of Work posted concurrently with this solicitation being the first and minimum order. Due to the number of technicaldisciplines required, the requirement is to be solicited on an unrestricted basis with regard to business size. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7389 and the size standard is $5 million.
