This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 16.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The annoucement constitutes the only solicitatin; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (TIRNO-99-Q-00032) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-07. This action is 100% small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acqusition is 7521; small business size standard is $5.0M. Award will be made to one offeror who fully meets requirements for the parking spaces. This is a fixed price requirement for twenty-five (25) parking spaces. The parking spaces must be within a three (3) block radius of the Internal Revenue Sevice Headquarters building at 1111 Constitution Avenue, N.W. This three block radius is defined as: East -- 9th Street; West -- 15th Street; South -- Constitution Avenue; North -- G Street. The parking must be in an indoor garage with access/egress control (attendant) during operating hours and twenty-four (24) hour access by any means (attendant, key card, key, etc.) at no additional cost to the Government. The garage must be available for Internal Revenue Service use seven (7) days per week; twenty-four (24) hours per day, 365/366 days per year. The period of performance shall be February 1, 1999 -- January 31, 2000. All responsible sources who can provide the 25 parking spaces shall submit written quotations by 15 days from the published date of this annoucement. Quotes for less than 25 spaces will not be considered. Pricing for the 25 spaces shall be submitted as follows: Qty.: 25; Unit: Mo.; Unit Price: $________; Total: $_________. Monthly invoices shall be submitted in accordance with the number of permits issued. No solicitation will be issued; therefore, such requests for solicitations will be considered non responsive.
