This request is for INFORMATION ONLY. The purpose of this survey is to gather information on contractors capable of designing and manufacturing Multi-place Inflatable Air Dropable Life Rafts using state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, specifically those using heat-sealable polyether polyurethanes and radio-frequency welding, or similar heat-sealing techniques. This announcement is to solicit sources; therefore, potential contractors who have the capability and are interested in responding to this announcement shall submit responses by 23 Dec 1998 to the above listed name and address. Interested contractors should indicate whether they are small, small disadvantaged, 8A, or large businesses. Any procurement resulting from this synopsis will be published separately in the CBD.
