UNICOR, FPI intends to issue a Request for Proposal Solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures which will result in a Firm Fixed Price Requirements type contract with (1) One Base Year and Two (2) Option Years if exercised for an estimated 31,610,000 FT of Mailbag Lacing Cord, 50% Polypropylene, Natural Color, 11/64" Type V, Class 5, Conforming to T-C-571-F Para 3.5 add the following: And shall be a solid braid weave at 110 feet per pound minimum, referred herein as 50/50 cotton propropylene. Put-Up: 5,280 feet per box. Contractor shall send a certified copy of a signed detailed laboratory report with each production lot. A Certificate of Compliance will be furnished with each shipment stating that testing has been performed in accordance with the specifications of the contract and a Certificate of Compliance is required with each shipment. Delivery acceptance is 30 Days ARO, and is FOB Destination to (5) five locations FCI, Tucson, AZ, USP, Atlanta, GA, USP, Leavenworth, KS, USP, Terre Haute, IN, and FCI, Ft. DIx, NJ. The estimated quantity for the Base and each Option Year is 4,410,000 FT for FCI, Tucson, AZ, 6,400,000 FT for USP, Atlanta, GA 4,500,000 FT for USP, Leavenworth, KS, 4,800,000 FT for USP, Terre Haute, IN, and 11,500,000 FT for FCI, Ft. Dix, NJ. This requirement is domestic only, and is "All or None". The Award will be based on Best Value. The Evaluation Factors are: Price, Past Performance (delivery) and Specifications.
