Suarez Jr. (520) 538-8241 (Site Code DAAB32) The CECOM Acquisition Center, Communications, Information and Switching Systems Branch, Southwest Operations Office(CAC-S), located at Fort Huachuca, Arizona is providing this notification for the maintenance and support of the ST-51 Automatic Test Equipment(ATE) System to include all of its peripheral hardware and software. This support is currently being provided by Group Technologies Corporation out of Tampa, FL. The ST-51 ATE is an Analog/Digital Automatic Test System, which is used for depot level maintenance and, is designed to perform automatic and manual testing of approximately 357 Communications Security(COMSEC) Printed Circuit Boards, and capable of performing fault isolation of the Unit Under Test(UUT) down to a single component. The selected contractor will be expected to maintain the System, to include computer maintenance for the Micro-3 Computers which support it, in proper operating condition with fully qualified technicians which will provide on-call and in-plant support for the six systems which are currently fielded. Systems are currently located at the following sites: Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA(3 each); San Antonio, TX(1 each); San Diego, CA(1 each) and Mannheim, Germany(1 each). The CAC-S anticipates issuing a solicitation around 21 December 1998 and making an award no later than 1 April 1999.
