Q -- PREPROPOSAL CONFERENCE PRIME VENDOR AGREEMENT HRSA-232-BPHC-AG-01(8) The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced in the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) their intention to solicit proposals (HRSA 232-BPHC-AG-01(8)) on September 1, 1998, with the intent of signing an Agreement with an organization having the capability to develop, maintain, and coordinate a prime vendor program for all drugs/pharmaceuticals authorized under Section 340B of the Public Health Service Act, for distribution to all member entities. The purpose of this announcement is to inform all prospective offerors that a Preproposal conference will be conducted on Thursday December 10, 1998, from 9:00am until 12:00 noon in Conference room "G" of the Parklawn Building, 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, Maryland 20857. On November 5, 1998, HRSA issued an amendment to the above referenced solicitation extending the due date for receipt of proposals from November 17, 1998 to January 15, 1999. This amendment was distributed to all organizations on the solicitation mailing list. At this time, HRSA does not anticipate any further extension of this due date. All substantive questions received to date regarding this solicitation will be addressed at this conference. A consolidated summary of the issues presented at the Preproposal conference will be mailed to each organization on the solicitation mailing list. The summary will also be available from this office by written request. If interested parties have any questions or comments concerning the Prime Vendor Agreement, please send them to the attention of James L.
