Webb, 770-488-9512 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The
solicitation number is TIRSE-99-Q-00010 and is being issued as a
request for proposal; it will be satisfied by entering into an
unrestricted commercial item (CI) procurement using Simplified
Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation document and
incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular No. 97-06. The Standard Industrial Classification
Code is 7381 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.0 million. The
IRS will require 225 parking spaces between Scott and Madison Streets,
near the IRS, 201 W. Rivercenter Blvd., Covington, KY. for a rental
period of five (5) months, January 1, 1999 -- May 31, 1999. The parking
spaces must be available 7 days a week, on a 24 hour per day basis. The
spaces must be of standard size to accommodate medium and large size
automobiles, passenger vans, and small pick-up trucks. The entire
parking area must have adequate lighting for night parking. The
pavement and markings of the area shall be in good repair for the
safety of Government employees and visitors. At least two
exits/entrances to the parking facility must be available for easy
access. The contractor must be responsible for painting and general
repairs and cleaning of the parking facility. CLAUSES & PROVISIONS --

resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose
offer, confirming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the
