This Solicitation Notice is for the Contractor to provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials and transportation to construct a Security Police Warehouse, Buckley Air National Guard Base, Aurora, Colorado, Project Number CRWU 95-1025A. Project shall consist of construction of a single story building, approximately, 4,900 square feet to be used as a storage facility. The warehouse will consist of new pre-engineered metal building, stand seam room with skylights, on a cast-in-place concrete slab stem wall. The interior will have one bathroom. Exterior work consist of asphalt pavement surronding the building, gas service, electric service, telephone service, water service, and sewer line connection. This project is listed under SIC 1541, $17,000.00. The estimated bid opening date is 20 January 1999. The estimated construction period is 240 calendar days with an estimated completion date of 15 November 1999. Estimated cost of construction is $250,000 to $500,000. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Solicitations will be available approximately 20 December 1998. The solicitation package will be limited to one set per bidder and will be issued on a first come first service basis as the number of copies is limited. Request for bid documents shall be in writing. Telephone request will not be accepted. The potential bidder shall provide a street address and not a post office box. Please note that the address for USPFO in Colorado has been changed from Stop 53 to Stop 66. Copies of the solicitation will be distributed to various Plans Rooms throughout Colorado.
