Market survey for direct digital control system for HVAC equipment. The
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, District, is conducting a market
survey to identify sources and to increase competition acquisition
opportunities for Direct Digital Controls (DDC) for heating,
ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment. This request is only
a market survey, not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing
list. It is for information only and is not a request for proposal
(RFP) or announcement of a solicitation. The purpose of this Sources
Sought request is to obtain software and future upgrades, full (100%)
compatibility and interoperability with existing system components at
Hurlburt Field, Florida. Direct Digital Controls for (HVAC) equipment
is required for Military Construction Projects at Hurlburt Field,
Florida. The DDC System shall be fully (100%) compatible with the
existing base-wide for Hurlburt Field, which is a Network 8000 System,
manufactured by Barber-Colman/Siebe. This system utilities a
proprietary data interface. Responses are required 14 days after
publication of this notice. Responses should be addressed to U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers, Mobile, ATTN: CESAM-CT-C, P.O. Box 2288, Mobile,
AL 36628-0001 and will be directed to Ms. Jacalyn Jenkins, (334)
441-5598. Firms interested in being considered shall provide
manufacturer's name, product data and written statement of
compatibility. The written statement of compatibility shall include
necessary backup information and support documentation. A list of
projects in which network 8000 has been successfully interfaced with
shall be provided. List shall include exact location of project and a
point of contact with phone numbers. The government will not pay for
any material provided in response to this synopsis nor return the data
provided. The results of this synopsis will be considered to be in
effect for a period of one year from the date of publication. Posted
