The Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center (AAC), Austin, TX, intends to negotiate sole source with aVue technologies, inc. for 1) integration of the Coho Casting and PeopleSoft products by developing and maintaining a generic interface between the systems and 2) professional services to assist the VA in conducting a full functional test of the Coho Casting product. Coho is a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) expert system for federal position classification. Responses must be in writing and must be received within 6 calendar days of this notice. Third party firms will be considered only if responding with clear and convincing evidence that aVue has assigned their rights. No solicitation documents are available and requests for such will be considered non-responsive. If one is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
