Offers are being solicited for Hand Tree Planting on four ranger districts of the Kootenai National Forest in Lincoln and Sanders Counties, Montana, for 1999, with options to renew for one additional year. Contracts will be awarded by item. The project will consist of a range of hand tree planting as follows: Rexford Ranger District approx. 303,000 container seedlings in the spring of 1999, and a renewal option of 200,000 container seedlings in the spring of 2000. Fortine Ranger District approx. 150,000 -- 200,000 seedlings in the spring of 1999, and a renewal option of a like quantity for 2000. Libby Ranger District approx. 300,000 seedlings in the spring of 1999, and a renewal option of 200,000 seedlings. Cabinet Ranger District approx. 70,000 -- 100,000 (100-200 acres) seedlings in the spring of 1999, and 200-400 acres in the spring of 2000.
