THE CLOSING DATE FOR SOLICITATION N00244-99-R-0011 HAS NOT BEEN EXTENDED (SEE detailed information on the closing date and time in the CBD-NET Notice of 13 November 1998 (Modification)). AMENDMENT: FAR 52-212-2 -- Evaluation-Commercial Items, is amended: Replace the sentence which states "Technical Capability and Past performance, when combined, are significantly more important than Price, WITH "Technical Capability and Past Performance are equally important, and when combined, are significantly more important than Price." CLARIFICATION: The following questions and answers are provided. QUESTION: 1. REPAIR TURN AROUND TIMES -- WHEN DOES CLOCK START? -- WHEN DOES CLOCK STOP? -- 30 DAYS BASED ON CALENDAR OR WORKING DAYS? -- IS IT FIGURED ON CONTRACT AVERAGE OR INDIVIDUAL REPAIR BASIS? ANSWER: 1. Clock starts when asset is shipped to prime contractor. Clock stops when NADEP NI receives asset back RFI. 30 days is based on calendar days. It is based on individual repair basis. QUESTION: 2. ARE CASS STATIONS AND ITS S.O.S. TPS AVAILABLE AS GOVERNMENT OWNED PROPERTY? ANSWER: 2. NADEP NI CASS Stations and their SOS TPS are not available as to the contractor as Government owned property. QUESTION: 3. ARE GOVERNMENT FACILITIES AVAILABLE AT NADEP-NI? ANSWER: 3. Government facilities are NOT available at NADEP NI. QUESTION: 4. ARE GOVERNMENT OWNED CASS SPARES AVAILABLE TO THE CONTRACTOR TO SUPPORT CASS? ANSWER: 4. There are no government owned CASS spares at NADEP NI. QUESTION: 5. WHAT DFAR PROVISIONS UNDER 252.212-7001? ANSWER: 5.
