Z -- REPAIR FUEL TRANSFER STATIONS SOL F0360298R0016 POC Sammy Moncada (501) 987-3848/Berry Jundt (501) 987-3853 or Contracting Officer Ray Blevins (501) 987-3379, Facsmile (501) 987-8119 The principles features of work for Project NKAK 96-1034 include, but are not limited to: (1) Restore two bulk fuel stations and off loading headers to active service. (2) Stations #1350 function is to transfer JP-4 from bulk to the flight line fuel pump stations. (3) Modifications are required to reconnect bulk fuel storage tank #1 (Facility #1348). Satation #1346 is used to load and /or unload fuel trucks in conjuction with the off loading headers. (4) This project will refurbish portions of the facilities that are now old and/or defunct. (5) Modifications to Pump Station #1350 include removing inactive, pumps, valves, and piping that is used to transfer JP-4 from Tank #1348 to flight line. (6) Supply pipe from tank #1 will be reconnected to active pumps at Pump Station #1350 and provided with appropiate isolation valves. (7) Modifications to Pump Station #1346 include retrofitting two filter separator vessels with all new equipment and accessories including new flow control valves (40 AF-2C)and isolation plugs valves. (8) Modifications to the Bottom Loading Fillstand #1 include installing a new fuel flow meter, isolation plug valves, flow control solenoid valve, Electrical Deadman control (including controller, switch, wiring and conduit), flexible hose, and truck nozzle. (9) Bottom Loading Fillstand #2 will have the flow control solenoid valve and Electrical Deadman control (including controller, switch, wiring and conduit) added. The estimated cost of construction is between $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. The performance period for this project will be 120 calendar days. This procurement is being issued on an unrestricted basis with small disadvantaged business evaluation preference. Contract award will be determined by using the newly drafted Air Force Basic Source Selection Procedures. This office proposes to issue an RFP F03602-98-R0016 on or about 28 December 98.
