LongTerm Natural Resources Vegetation Monitoring Stucy at Elmendorf Air Force Base, AK The Air Force intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract to the University of Alaska at Anchorage, Alaska Natural Heritage Program Office, for services to establish and characterize long-term vegetation monitoring plots within 10,381 acres on Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. The University of Alaska will design, establish, and sample a system of long-term vegetation inventory plots on the installation. This research study will supply essential information for updating the current Elmendorf Air Force Base Integrated Natural Resource Management Plan as directed in AFI 32-7064 and 32 CFR 190.7, 16 USC-5CSCIl-670a (Sikes Act).
