We are soliciting in-kind donations/sponsorship for the Elmendorf Fitness Center's Armed Forces Basketball Tournament, scheduled to take place 25-28 March 1999, at the Elmendorf Fitness Center.The Tournament will consist of mens and womens teams, social and awards ceremony, MVP awards, 3-point king and queen, an all tournament team, and tournament high scorer. There will be approximately 120 people participating in this tournament. We are seeking sponsorship/donations for trophies, T-shirts (for each entrant), basketballs, as well as food and beverages. We have no money budgeted for this event. Approximately $2,500 in sponsorship would be needed to conduct this tournament. Dollar sponsorship would be accepted. We will allow the sponsor(s) to set up a booth or displays at the event as well as hang banners. Advertising will be done at all areas of the base. We would accept all or part sponsorship/donation for this event. All offers would be considered. More than one sponsorship/donation may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of this solicitation must be received no later than 26 Febuary 1999. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship/donation by a nonappropriated funds instrumentality of the United States Government.
