Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has requirement to complete development and test of the Stand-off Land Attack Missile Expanded Response (SLAM ER) with Automatic Target Acquisition (ATA) capability, including captive and live fire tests. NAVAIR intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-99-G-0027 to McDonnell Douglas Corp. (MDC), a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St Louis, MO 63166-0516. MDC is the designer and manufacturer of the SLAM ER missile and the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, facilities, and experience to perform this effort within the required time frame.
