Beechcraft C-12C Aircraft. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command
(AMCOM) intends to acquire one (1) DeHavilland Dash-7, Series 102
(DHC-7/102) through an exchange/trade of six (6) non-excess Beechcraft
C12C aircraft. The U.S. Army will conduct a competition that maximizes
the return for this exchange. This competition is designated as a small
business set aside. The aircraft are located at Lakehurst, NAES,
(Maxfield Fld-KNEL), New Jersey. Offerors will be invited to evaluate
the aircraft on-site at no cost to the Government. Offered aircraft
must meet the following minimum criteria: Aircraft other than DHC-7/102
will not be considered, Aircraft with manufacturer serial number 027 or
less are not acceptable, Aircraft with cargo door and heavy-duty
flooring installed are not acceptable, Aircraft with major structural
repairs or alterations to the fuselage, undercarriage, wings, or
horizontal stabilizer are not acceptable. All cycle life-limited
components of the landing gear system shall have not less than ten
thousand (10,000) cycles remaining before mandatory replacement. All
aircraft hour life-limited components shall have not less than fifteen
hundred (1,500) hours of service life remaining before mandatory
replacement. All aircraft calendar life-limited components shall have
not less than eighteen (18) months of useful life remaining before
mandatory replacement. The contractor shall deliver one (1) DeHavilland
DHC-7/102 aircraft to the Washington County Regional Airport (KHGR)
near Hagerstown, Maryland as soon as possible after contract award. The
DeHavilland DHC-7/102 aircraft offered shall be inspected and
conditionally accepted by the Government at origin. Origin shall be
within the continental boundaries of the United States of America or
Canada. Final acceptance/inspection will be conducted by the Government
