contract with Rolls Royce Allison for continuing (CY 99) non-recurring
engineering, flight test support and program support. Tasks may
include instrumentation of test components or assemblies, continued
support on engine structural and fatigue issues, controls and fuel flow
issues, deicing, analysis related to the Series III engine. Tasks
include administrative and technical support necessary to facilitate
the integration of the NP2000 propeller system on the E-2C/C2-A
aircraft powered by Allison Model T56 engines. Rolls Royce Allison
Engine Company has forty years investment in the design, development
and manufacture of Model T56 series engines and is the only source with
the T56 design, performance and engineering expertise, data, models and
test capability required to perform the analysis and assess the effects
of the NP2000 propeller system on engine performance characteristics
