This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The successful contractor shall supply a Hydroblasing unit with a tube cleaning package and general accessories FOB destination to the Receiving Officer, Building 493, Naval Submarine Base, Supply Operations NLON, Groton, Ct. 06349-5500, on or before 31 December 1998. Specifications as follows: Item 0001 Hydroblasting unit meeting the folllowing minimum requirements: flow in GPM 16.8 or better, 100 HP electric motor, 440-460V, 60 HZ, ungrounded, 3 phase, grounding strap required. Reduced voltage starter, rain tight enclosure on/off push button, job button and circuit breaker disonnect with reset. Heavy 6" deep unit base. Pump with 6-10,000 PSI fluid end. Safety pressure gage, coin proof rupture disc assembly. Hand adjustable bypass valve. Stainless steel severe service relief valve. 100 gallon water tank-hot dipped galvanized. Low water level safety shutdown system. Hi-flow galvanized filter assembly (40 GPM, 20 micron). Motor hour meter required. One day on-site start-up training, and operating instruction manual included. Item 0002 -- one each -- 10,000 PSI general accessory package. Item 0003 -- one each -- Tube cleaning package. The Government will award a firm fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror which is the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
