The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN), San Diego intends to procure services to provide Submarine Low Frequency/Very Low Frequency VMEbus Receiver (SLVR) chassis upgrades on a sole source basis to Carlo Gavazzi Inc (CGI). This tasking supports the upgrade of the existing CGI chassis and their associated mechanical and electrical systems used in the SLVR system. The effort will include upgrade, design and engineering services, modifications to existing hardware, fabrication of modified/upgraded hardware, analysis, testing, and associated documentation for the VXI and VME chassis. The design upgrades are directed at meeting operational, environmental, electrical, and mechanical requirements of the SLVR Program specification. No solicitation will be issued.
