The Defense Contract Management District East -- DCMDE -FAB, plans to issue a solicitation resulting in award of a contract for operating, managing and maintaining a cafeteria-type restaurant approximately on 1 FEB 1999. The contractor shall provide necessary labor, supervision, materials and equipment to establish, operate, manage and maintain, in the name of the contractor, a cafeteria-type restaurant and agree to pay monthly, to the Post Restaurant fund, a commission on the gross monthly sales. Operation shall include the right to store, prepare, sell food, dairy products, beverages (nonalcoholic), and other similar items as the Fund may from time to time give written approval. The cafeteria is to be operated for the benefit of approximately 1,500 military and Federal employees who occupy the Barnes Building, 495 summer street, Boston, MA. 02210-2184.
